Paste any of these at the top of a chat (or save as a Project instruction) and Claude behaves like a specialist for the whole conversation.
3 · Token Cheats
Same output, smaller bill.
- Start a new chat per task — long threads re-send the whole history every message.
- Paste only the relevant code/text, not the whole file. Claude doesn't need the rest.
- Ask for the answer first, reasoning only if you want it — "be concise unless I ask you to expand."
- Use Projects for reusable context instead of re-pasting it every session.
- For big jobs, ask Claude to plan first, then execute — you catch wrong turns before they cost tokens.
4 · Your First 5 Days
One small win a day. By Friday it's a habit.
- Inbox. Paste your messiest email thread and use the Reply skill. Feel the time vanish.
- Think. Bring a real decision. Use "The Decision" prompt — let it interview you first.
- Learn. Pick something you've avoided. "Explain like I'm 5, then like an expert."
- Build. Screenshot any UI or describe a tiny tool. Watch Claude make it.
- Systemise. Take the task you did twice this week and save it as a Skill (above).
